As well as a strong cricket setup, we have a large social following at the club. We benefitted from a full bar and clubroom refurbishment in 2019 that has transformed the aged interior of the old clubhouse into a modern and welcoming space that is open to all our members to enjoy.

The club plays host to many local events including live music, quiz & curry night’s as well as being able to offer our facilities to long standing community events like the annual music festival in June, the town fayre and fireworks nights to name a few.

The views from the grandstand and terrace are some of the best in the county on a summer’s evening so with some form of cricket most nights of the week, the club is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine and relax after work and at the weekends.

During the winter months, we also have a number of our own Skittles and Darts teams who play Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights so barely an evening goes by when the club isn’t a hub of activity throughout the year.
