2nd XI launch new league term with derby date!

Bradninch 2^nd XI skipper Chris Acton faces a local derby to launch his teams Tolchards Devon League E Division campaign.

Kentisbeare 1^st XI, relegated from D Division East last season, will be the visitors to Kensham Park for a May 7 meeting.

The first month of the new league term also sees the 2^nd XI travel to meet Honiton 1^st XI, then entertain Woodbury & Newton St Cyres 1^st XI and they end the month with a trip to Braunton 2^nd XI.

June sees the 2^nd XI play four games, two home and two away starting with North Devon 3^rd XI at home followed by a trip to Topsham St James 1^st XI, then a home meeting with Ottery St Mary 2^nd XI and a trip to Newton Poppleford to meet Sidmouth 3^rd XI.

There are five 2^nd XI league outings in July starting with a local derby home meeting with Thorverton 2^nd XI, this a game that marks the completion of the first half of the 2022 league season. July 9 brings a trip to Kentisbeare followed by a home meeting with Honiton and then a trip to Woodbury & Newton St Cyres, and the month ends with a home game against Braunton.

August sees four games starting with a trip to North Devon 3^rd XI. That’s followed by a Kensham Park meeting with Topsham St James after which it’s a trip to Ottery St Mary and the month ends with a visit from Sidmouth 3^rd XI for the final home league game – that being played on Saturday, August 27.

There is one September league game this year and it is also the final match of the 2022 league campaign with the Bradninch 2^nd XI in derby action at Thorverton.
