Bradninch & Kentisbeare Under-10s made it a three-wins-in-a-row with victory in their meeting Budleigh Salterton.

Budleigh had first go with the bat and they made their way to what was ultimately a net score of 236.

There were three wickets claimed by the B&K bowlers with two of them going to Ellie who returned the very impressive figures of 2-8.

The other wicket taker was Archie with his return being 1-5, but, sadly, Archie was injured during his spell of bowling and so was unable to take his turn with the bat later in the contest –  Here’s hoping you are back super fit again soon Archie!

As for the remainder of the bowling stats, they were: Bertie (0-2), Dylan (0-4), Noah (0-5), Teddy (0-6), Robert (0-8) and Henry (0-12).

The B&K effort with the bat – one that again led the team to success, was led by Henry, who scored six.

The ‘best of the rest’ was the four scored by Dylan while Robert, who batted twice as a replacement for the injured Archie, scored two in each stint to also contribute four runs to the cause.

The other returns with the willow were from Teddy (2), Ellie (1), Noah (1) and Bertie (0).
