Alas, we had insufficient numbers to run a coach solely for supporters to attend the big FINALS DAY (Sunday August 7) at Bridgwater CC.
It is hoped that we can ‘fill cars’ and so, anyone who is going and might be able to ‘offer a lift’ is asked to leave a not on our BCC Facebook page so contact can be made by those hoping to bag a lift!
I do know of two people who’d love to hitch a lift, Oli (2nd XI umpire) and Hooch.
There is a route to the Finals Day via the train (the distance from Bridgwater Railway Station to Bridgwater CC is one-and-a-half miles – a 30 minute walk).
Rail – Tiverton Parkway to Bridgwater
There is a train from Tiverton Parkway at 08:14 which is direct to Bridgwater, arriving there at 08:38.
In the event of the team reaching the final then a return train is available – departing Bridgwater at 9:42 and arriving at Tiverton Parkway at 10:15 – there’s an earlier train departing Bridgwater at 7:44pm and arriving at Tiverton Parkway at 8:28.
The cost of a Day Return on the train is £17.50.
